And To Clarify
Disliking Stephanie because she’s a blonde white girl who replaced one of the few women of color in comics IS a legit reason, especially for POCs, to hold resentment towards her.
So I wish we wouldn’t blanket it all with “Anyone who doesn’t like Stephanie is a douchebag who hates fun!” talk. Because just like the people who are upset about Oracle being made back into Batgirl, Cass was a role model for a group of people with little representation in comics too.
I think this is an important reminder for all Steph fans (myself included). Do not police the hurt or anger of POC. Ever.
Being angry about Steph being dismissed or belittled for non-legit reasons = totally cool, blanket statements = not so cool
